Major League Baseball Player. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he made his major league debut as a right handed pitcher on June 17, 1950, with the Philadelphia Athletics. For five seasons he played with Philadelphia Athletics (1950-51 and 1954) and Kansas City Athletics (1955-56). He ended his career with a record of 10 wins, 6 losses, 4 saves, 97 strikeouts and a 4.71 earned run average. He died at age 82 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
