HEDRICK, Ethel May (Chambers), – Age 75, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on May 20, 2004, in a Roseburg hospice. Mrs. Hedrick was born on April 6, 1929, in Central Point, Oregon, the daughter of Oscar Otis and Alta May (Gould) Chambers. She was united in marriage to William N. Hedrick of Medford, Oregon, in 1947. They moved to Winston, Oregon, in 1959 where they raised their family. Winston remained their home until moving to Roseburg in 1996. Mrs. Hedrick was devoted to her family and pets and was skilled in needlework, sewing and homemaking. She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, William of Roseburg; children, William and his wife, Vicki Hedrick of Columbus, Indiana; Elaine and husband, Ron Spellmeyer of Roseburg; John and his wife, Bonnie Hedrick of Haines, Alaska; Kathryn Hedrick of Junction City, Oregon; two grandchildren, Luke Hedrick of Haines; Patricia Hedrick of Junction City. Mrs. Hedrick was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and five sisters. No services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor’s Family Chapel.
