Funeral Services Held at Home, Burial At Riverside Cemetery This Afternoon

John A. Bacon, Sr., 87, was laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery today, the last rites being conducted at the home at Roaring Springs by his pastor, the Rev. R.L. Cave.
Mr. Bacon died yesterday afternoon of complications incident to his age. He had been in declining health for some time.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters Mrs. W.H. (last name is illegible) Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Robert Stowe of the city; a son John A. Bacon, Jr., of Roaring Springs; a sister Mrs. Bradshaw of the county and two brothers of Evansville
