Caroline is the daughter of Benjamin F. and Mary Ann Gordy Hudson. She was born and grew up at Bayou Sale, La, where her father owned sugar plantations. He established South Bend, North Bend, and Midway plantations. He built his home on the Midway land so that is where Caroline grew up. She had 6 brothers and 3 sisters. They are to my knowledge:
