DAVENPORT - Service for Mrs. Nora A. Rochholz, 88, Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Saturday in The Runge Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the mortuary. Mrs. Rochholz passed away Wednesday April 4, 2001, at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Davenport following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 25, 1912 in Tipton, Iowa, the daughter of Christian and Agnes (Gundelach) Schroeder.
On September 27, 1933, she married Louis Rochholz in Tipton,
Mrs. Rochholz had been employed by Petersen Harned Von Maur in downtown Davenport for 25 years prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Green Acres Mother's Club in Davenport.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting and traveling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation, American Heart Fund or Good Samaritan Nursing Center.
Survivors include her husband, Louis; a daughter Trenna Malone, Davenport; sons and daughter-in-laws, Gene and June Rochholz, Muscatine, Iowa, Rolland "Rod" Rochholz, Moline, Kenneth and Sharlynn Rochholz, Walcott, Iowa, and Wendell and Wanda Rochholz, Bettendorf; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; and sisters, Martha McGinnis and Dolores Connaughy both of Davenport.
She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren; her parents and a brother.
