Mrs. W. P. Miller of Millerton, died very suddenly Monday afternoon, while hanging out clothes. She got up in the morning as well as usual, did her washing before noon and then ate her dinner. Soon after dinner she went out to hang up clothes on the line, and while in the act of hanging up a garment dropped suddenly to the ground, dead. A son, who was in the house by the window, saw his mother fall and went immediately to her, but too late, she had expired. Mrs. Miller was a highly respected lady, her husband who died two or three years ago, having been one of the most prominent citizens in that section, he having contributed the greater part of the funds to build the Lutheran church at Surprise. The funeral of Mrs. Miller was held at the family residence yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. Mrs. Miller was an aunt of Mrs. Carl Jungerman.
