Thelma was born on July 2, 1920 to her parents F.G. and Una (Burts) Swallow in North Zulch. She later joined the National Youth Association and met future husband Willard Heath. They got married March 13, 1940 and have been married 72 years. She loved her family very much and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Thelma also loved gardening, flowers, and raising her chickens.
Thelma was preceded in death by both her parents; three sisters Gladys Biddle, Jean Biddle, and Dorothy Bates; a brother F.G. Swallow; and a son Willard Thomas Heath.
She is survived by her husband Willard Heath; a son Calvin Heath and wife Janie; four daughters Dorothy Gene Barnett and husband Jay, Carrie Sanders and husband Harlon (Red), Bonnie Keith and husband David, and Diann Mitchell. She also left behind ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
