Born in Vineland, she was a longtime resident of Salem before moving to Delano in 2002. Harriet was formerly employed by the Salem Sunbeam Newspaper as an ad composer. She was a member of the Broadway Methodist Church in Salem and the Salem N.J. Historical Society. Harriet loved antiques, plants and needlework.
Harriet is survived by her son, Dr. John Westen Denman, D.O. and wife Georgia of Delano; three granddaughters, Elizabeth L. Denman of Delano, and Caitrin L. Bayard and Dr. Britta L. Denman, D.O., both of Iowa City, Iowa; two great-grandchildren, Kaya A. Bayard of Iowa City and C.A. "Trey" Bayard III of Iowa City. She was the wife of the late Westen Hugh Denman; daughter of the late Russell V. Sr. and Mary James Davis; sister of the late Russell V. Jr., Donald J. and Rose Mary Davis.
Relatives and friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, immediately followed by graveside funeral services at Siloam Cemetery in Vineland.
