1st wife Evelyn H. Dennis

Beloved father of four

In his 70's, Jack managed to climb the tall church extension ladders that younger men were afraid to climb to paint the upper part of the chapel so "the old man had to do it" he said. At 75 he and his grandson, repaired his daughter's roof. In his 80's he was under her house making plumbing repairs. Their daughter recalls her parents as having a delightful sense of humor as being one of their best traits. They both believed in being honest in their dealings with men and had a strong sense of faith in God and instilled these values in their children
