SCALES MOUND - Funeral service for Herbert Hickman of Scales Mound, who died Friday in Cuba City (Wis.) Medical Center, was held this afternoon at First Presbyterian Church, Galena. He was 87.
Burial was in Scales Mound Township Cemetery. Steinke Funeral Home, Galena, was in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are two sons, Cleland (Herb) and Kenneth, a stepson, Stanley Davis, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Harold Harwick, all of Scales Mound; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren.
Also, two brothers, Frank of Centerville, Iowa and Raymond of Lamar, Mo.; and three sisters, Miss Verona and Mrs. Elsie Snavely, both of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. William Serafini of Jasper, Mo.
