Mrs. Lillie Mae Craft, 94 years old, of rural Whitewater died Saturday night at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau where she had been a patient for a month.

Born at Neelys Landing Sept. 6, 1879, the former Miss Lillie Mae Ackman married Marion Craft on Aug. 10, 1899. He died Aug. 28, 1935.

Mrs. Craft was a lifelong member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church at Crump.

Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Luther A. Hedge and Mrs. Loyd Proffer, both of Whitewater; Mrs. Bessy Johnson, Jackson, and Mrs. Vernice Yount, Cape Girardeau; sons, Horace Craft and Emil Craft, both of Crump, Raymond Craft, Cape Girardeau, and Milford Craft, Edwardsville, Ill.; 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.

The body will be taken at noon Tuesday from McCombs Funeral Home at Jackson to Bethlehem Baptist Church at Crump for service at 1 with the Rev. Jimmie Fulbright and the Rev. Delbert Bishop officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery east of Pocahontas.
