Lillie Mae Pierce, of Salem, daughter of the late Albert Head and Jane Morton Head, was born March 14, 1929 in Harrison, AR. She died March 29, 2012 at her home in Salem, at the age of 83 years and 15 days.

She was united in marriage to Elijah Desmon Pierce in 1951 at Wasco, CA. She was a clerk at First National Banking Company (FNBC) for many years. She was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Meleesa Autry and husband Larry of Patuxent River, MD and Desmon Pierce and wife Marita of Cypress, TX.; Two grandchildren, Pierce and Blake Autry and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Troy Morton and her father and mother.

Services are Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Salem First Baptist Church beginning at 2 pm with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mountain Home under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem. Visitation is Saturday from 6-8 pm at Cox-Blevins Chapel.
