Julian A. McBryde, age 72, of 656 Goodyear Ave., Rockmart, formerly of Aragon, died Thursday, Nov. 5, in a Rome hospital.
Mr. McBryde was born October 24, 1915, in Polk County and was the son of the late Authur H. and Mattie Belle Waller McBryde. He was a retired farmer and a retired employee of Intergrated Products at Aragon. He was a member of the Aragon United Methodist Church and was a member of Davitte Masonic Lodge No. 513.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clara M. McBryde, Rockmart; one daughter, Mrs. Aletha McBryde Strange, Rockmart; one son-in-law, Jimmy Strange, Rockmart; three grandchildren, Jeff and Stacey Strange and Donna Strange, all of Rockmart; two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Jason Strange, Rockmart.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Cornwell and the Rev. Carl Robinson officiated, and interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery with Davitte Lodge No. 513 in charge of Masonic graveside rites.
