Beverly June Conour, 80, died Sunday August 2, 2009 in Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born September 12, 1928 in Dixon, IL, the daughter of Richard "Jack" & Alice Larson Pearce. She graduated from Rochelle Township High School, Class of 1946. She married Keith Conour on June 1, 1947; he preceded her in death. She was a bookkeeper for Woodstock Country Club, worked at Gleichman Pharmacy, and owned and operated Conour Shoes in Rochelle with her husband. She loved golf, traveling, playing bridge, riverboat gambling, and was an avid Chicago Bulls, Cubs, and Bears fan. Beverly was a member of the Rochelle Country Club and played in the Ladies Lincoln Highway Tournament for many years.

Survivors include her children, grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters, and many bridge playing friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Richard Eugene Pearce and Kenneth "Sammy" Pearce.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 136 W. Roosevelt Rd., Stillman Valley. Interment of cremains will be in Lawnridge Cemetery, Rochelle. Memorials to Ogle County Hospice would be appreciated.
