Born October 20, 1913, in Hannibal, MO she was the daughter of Walter and Pearl Bradshaw Banta. She was also raised by J.C. Stone who married Pearl after Walter died. On September 14, 1935 she married Norris H. Gustafson in Hannibal, MO. Mrs. Gustafson was a homemaker.She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Burlington. She was an avid gardener, loved traveling, fishing and taking care of her husband. Survivors include her husband Norris and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, three brothers and one nephew. Visitation will be after noon Thursday, October 14, at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM.Visitation will also be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, October 16, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO.The Funeral Service for Mrs. Gustafson will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 16, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery in Hannibal.A memorial has been established.
