The 5 children of Jincy and Hiram Bland were Ivey or Ivy (1852), Timothy (1854), Susan (1856), Mary 'Polly' (1858) and Asbury "Berry" (1860) Bland. On Nov. 24, 1864 during the Civil War, Hiram Bland died after 4 months in a Union prison at Camp Chase, just outside Columbus, Ohio.
On Nov 6, 1878, widow Jincy married her second husband, Hiram Thomas Jones, in Bulloch County, GA. In 1885, Hiram Jones preceded her in death. In 1900, Jane Jones is living in the household of her daughter and son-in-law, Polly and Frank Deal.
On Dec. 3, 1910, Jane "Jincy" (Crumpton) Bland Jones, age 84, died in Bulloch County with burial in Upper Mill Creek Cemetery, Statesboro, Bulloch County, Georgia.
