It has been suggested that Lucinda (maybe nee Kelley or Kelly) Whiteside (15544046) be removed as a wife of Lafayette Whiteside. She is buried in Troy, Miami County, Ohio. Some of Lafayette's children are attached to her, but that might be incorrect. Researching that now.

Lafayette Whiteside (1832 - 1891), a son of Sarah (nee Webb) and Robertson Whiteside.

Lafayette and L. C. Whiteside (1837-1905), are both buried at Whiteside Cemetery.
Lucinda Whiteside (1835-1889) is buried in Ohio!

Sophrona Clayton, 14, living with her mother Margaret Clayton, age 56.

It appears that in about 1854 Lafayette Whiteside married (Margaret?) Sophronia Clayton.
On October 2, 1855, their daughter Margaret Sophronia Whiteside was born.
It appears that (Margaret?) Sophronia (nee Clayton) Whiteside died in late 1855.

It appears that Lafayette married Mary J. Burcham before 1860.
