Henry Crocket was born in Dearborn, Manchester, IN. His mother, Lucy Canfield, died in IN leaving at least 3 children.

Walter then married Mary Anderson. They had at least 9 children before Walter died in Golconda, 8 Aug 1861, the result of a fist fight with a drunken neighbor in front of the Court House. Walter is buried on the family farm in Twp 13S Range 6E, NW of Golconda(*)

Henry's sister, Eliza Bagley and her husband George Washington Anderson, are also buried in Palestine Cem. Siblings Henry C. and Eliza Bagley, married siblings Margaret and George W. Anderson respectively.

Henry C Bagley and Margaret Anderson were married 7 Jan 1860, Pope Co, IL.
