Sidney Stanton, sr., died last evening at the home of his son, Sidney Stanton, jr., No. 121 Lock street. He was born in Syracuse in 1809. He was a stonemason and had the mason work contract on the First Presbyterian church and the Salt Springs office. He was a member of Syracuse lodge, F. & A.M. Two children, Sidney and James, survive him.
