Aunt Leda was really cool She was a Piano Teacher & I remember the beautiful upright piano she had in her Front room / Living room She made the best Fruit cake & always had something good to eat as her 3 boy's ( my cousins ) David , Thomas & Paul were bottomless pits when it came to food. Many Thanksgiving meals were eaten at their home Aunt Leda & one of her sisters - Isabelle - always made tons of food * as I remember as a child * & my boy cousins did not leave much for leftovers What turkey was left was made into a now Family Tradition called TURKEY SURPRISE My cousins taught me how to balance & slide down the banister from the second floor landing much to Aunt Leda's dismay We would fall off the banister onto the couch located just next to the wall under the stairway B4 we made it to the end -- So Much Fun for a kid Her husband Wilford ( Uncle Bill ) was a very patient gentleman who had a garden area in the backyard Aunt Leda loved to host friends & always made the Society News about her parties I miss listening to her play the piano.
