OXFORD - Patricia Ann Archie-Herod, 60, died Friday, March 29, 2012, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford. She was a native of Oxford and the daughter of Joe Willie and Elizabeth Archie. She was a 1970 graduate of Central High School in Oxford where she was a majorette and member of the dance team. She was a member of Second M.B. Church.
Services will be at noon Thursday at Second M.B. Church. The Rev. Andrew Robinson Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Brown's Chapel Cemetery. Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband, David Herod of Lockport, Ill.; one daughter, Veda C. Draine of Oxford; one stepdaughter, Tekela Herod of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sisters, Mary Anderson of Memphis and Sharon Banks of Oxford; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Second M.B. Church.
