MRS. ERNEST HOWELL DIES OF LONG ILLNESS

Mrs. Nettie Dull Howell, 72, wife of Ernest Howell, president and general manager of the Capital City Supply Company, died yesterday afternoon at the residence, 1525 Quarrier street, after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Elizabeth Rice Dull of Virginia.
Mrs. Howell was born June 13, 1870, and attended school at Charlottesville, Virginia, and studied music at Atlanta, Georgia. For many years she was prominent in local musical circles as a singer.
She married Mr. Howell July 13, 1892, at Charlottesville and came with him to Charleston the following fall.
Services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at the Barlow chapel. Rev. Warren S. Stone, pastor of the Kanawha Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The family has requested that flowers be omitted.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William Dabney of Charleston and Mrs. Garrett Fogle of St. Albans; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
