Lucile M. (Bowlus) FINKBONE, age 97, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed peacefully Monday, November 7, 2005, at Lebanon Nursing & Rehab in Lebanon, Ohio. Born April 14, 1908 in Germantown, Ohio, she was the daughter of Harry Mann Bowlus and Lavina (Gephart) Bowlus.
She taught school for many years in one and two room school houses in Butler County, Madison Township, West Middletown finally retiring from Little Miami School District in 1970.
Preceded in death by her parents; dear husband, John W. Finkbone in 2001 and two brothers, Paul Bowlus and John Edward Bowlus, she is survived by her son, William E. Finkbone (Lorraine A. Bradley) of Mason, Ohio; two sister-in-laws, Virgina Bowlus and Oveda Finkbone; special cousin, Ruth Slade; five grandsons, Scott (Chris) Bradley, Kevin Bradley, Chris (Angela) Bradley, John Finkbone II and Todd Finkbone and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on the family on Thursday, November 10, 2005 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2005 at 10:00am also at the funeral home with Chaplain Barb Schnecker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home, 801 Monroe Road, Lebanon, Ohio.
