James Roscoe Leak, 51 years old of Lizton, Indiana, died Friday, March 23, 2012 in Methodist Hospital.

He was born December 29, 1960 in Lebanon, Indiana, son of the late J. Robert and Betty C. Leak.

He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in architecture. He worked for Batts Inc of Advance for 20 years as a draftsman and also in research and development.

He authored the cult classic "Travels With Roscoe".

Surviving are sisters, Nancy L. Ritchardson of Jamestown and Jaynie Leak of Lizton, brothers, John R. Leak of Lizton and Joseph R. Leak of Indianapolis, niece, Kate Leak of Denver, Colorado, and nephew, Michael Leak of Brownsburg.

Friends will be received Monday, March 26, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home, Jamestown, Indiana.

Graveside services will be held at the Lizton K of P Cemetery, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Mark Roberts officiating.
