Henry A. Gutfleisch, 75, of 647 W. Chestnut St., died unexpectedly Thursday at 5 p.m. at St. Joseph Hospital. He had been under the care of a physician. He was the husband of Esther T. Koller Gutfleisch. He lived in Lancaster most of his life and retired in 1968 as the city's plumbing inspector, a post he had held for three years. Prior to that he operated a plumbing and heating business for a number of years. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Born in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Albert and Catherine Draude Gutfleisch. He is survived by his wife, at home. (Lancaster New Era - Mar 10, 1978)
