The Son of Reason Mobley Meador and his first wife, Sarah unk. Billy married 17 May 1877 Navarro Co., TX to Martha E. Grady. He shot her with a revolver in a domestic dispute on 23 Dec. 1905. Then, he shot himself in the left lung. He died in custody at St.Paul's Sanitarium and was buried in Oakland Cem. (probably in an unmarked grave).
Children: Edgar Lee, Annie May, Nellie E., Bruce Davis, Earl G. Meador

I have recently done considerable research into the parentage of Reason Mobley/Moberly Meador, the father of this William Meador. I have a strong belief that Reason is the son of John Vines Meador and his first wife, Mary Brazile/Breazeale (rather than Obediah, as has been reported for a long time).
