Born at Scircleville, April 19, 1886, the son of James E. and Betsey A. Trask McKinney, he married the former Edith Barnett on February 6, 1907.
A member of the Kirklin Presbyterian Church and the Scircleville Lodge, F & A M Clinton Chapter, and F & A M Frankfort Council, and the Frankfort Commandery No. 29. Mr. McKinney was a farmer and had lived at his present home 51 years.
Survivors include the widow; two sons, James and Robert; a daughter Mrs. Sam Davis; a brother, Charles, and seven grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the M.R. Hunt Funeral Home, Kirklin, with Rev. John Matthews officiating. Rev. Malcolm McNeal will assist.
Burial will follow at Scott Cemetery, Scircleville.
