GEORGE F. BLIGH, 86, formerly of Dedham Road, a former weaver, died Tuesday at the Sunny View Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Averill L. (Gifford) Bligh.

Born in Providence, a son of the late John and Mary (Dean) Bligh, he lived in Warwick for 20 years. He previously lived in Burrillville.

Mr. Bligh worked for the Stamina Manufacturing Co. before retiring in 1972. He previously worked for 32 years for the Stillwater Worsted Co., Burrillville. He also worked for the former United Electric Railway. He was a Mason and a member of Granite Lodge 26, Harrisville.

He leaves a sister, Florence E. Sheridan of Warwick. He was brother of the late Arthur K. Bligh.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Jones-Walton-Sheridan Home, 1895 Broad St., Cranston. Burial will be in Slatersville Cemetery, Slatersville.
