Mrs. Bonnie E. Rankin, 80, 809 North Cleveland, died Monday night at South Hospital following a short illness.
She was born Jan. 25,1893, at Lyons. She was married to Gail F. Rankin, Oct. 25, 1913, at Kansas City, Mo. After Rankin died July 23, 1964, she moved to Hutchinson from the Lyons community where they had lived many years.
Survivors include sisters: Mrs. Hazel Rickards, 314 West A; Mrs. Grace Drumhiller, Bates Park, Colo.; brothers: Floyd Diggs, Kingman, Ariz.; Ellis W. Diggs, 406 East C; W. Howard Diggs, 1711 Cone; Raymond K. Diggs, Seattle, Wash.; Elden Diggs, Kansas City, Mo.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Elliott Chapel; Rev. W. O. Hopper and Rev. Jay Bowen. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Lyons. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Elliott Chapel.
