Fort Bend Herald, Thursday, March 30, 2006:

Funeral services for Mark Gregory Bean, Sr., 52, of Sargent, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2006, at the Garmany & Carden Chapel in Rosenberg, with the Rev. Byron Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in the Needville Public Cemetery. A time of visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2006, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Home.

Mark Gregory Bean, Sr. departed to be with our Lord during the morning hours of Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Mark was the son of John and Lucille Bean and lived most of his life in Rosenberg. These last few years he lived in Sargent. Mark was born in Lubbock, Jan 6, 1954. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

His parents, John and Lucille Bean, preceded him in death.

Mark is survived by his sons, Mark Bean Jr. and Matthew Bean; brothers, Michael Bean of Lubbock, John Bean and wife, Lorri, of Mexia; sisters, Wanda Kiesling and husband, Harvey, of Rosenberg, Loretta Labay and husband, Dutch, of Needville, and Norma Gail Allsup and husband, David; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and nieces and nephews.

Services are under the direction of Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors, Inc. 1201 Fourth St. in Rosenberg. 281-341-4671.
