Mrs. Sylvia Pike, a resident of Plymouth county about 58 years, died Thursday afternoon in her home near Westfield, where she had lived since her marriage to John N. Pike, December 25, 1881.
Death was attributed to nephritis and accompanying complications. Mrs. Pike, who was 73 years old, had been ill about six weeks.
While still a child she moved with her parents from Williamsport, Pa where she was born, June 25, 1856, to Illinois. Mrs. Pike was married in Sioux City.
Survivors Include: The widower; a son, Howard Pike; four, daughters, Mrs. Grace Webber, Mrs. Albert Derochie, Mrs. George Rust and Mrs. Cambert McCampbell. and 11 grandchildren, all of Westfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in Westcott's chapel. Wallace M. Short will officiate. Burial will be in Logan Park cemetery.
