Funeral services will be at 2 pm Wednesday for Mrs Carl (Marie) Hower, 62 of 6312 Decatur Road, who died at 8:20 am yesterday in Lutheran Hospital where she had been a patient since Saturday.

Rev Russell Shalley will officiate at the services in the South Side Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.

A native of Redkey, she resided in Fort Wayne 50 years and was employed as a housekeeper at the Lutheran Nursing Home. She was a member of the South Side Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs Catherine Johnston, Jackson, Mich, and Mrs Ruth Bishop, Fort Wayne; a son, Donald, Fort Wayne; three brothers, Paul Howell, Virgil Howell and Wedon Howell, all of Fort Wayne; and 11 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the DO McComb & Sons Funeral Home until noon Wednesday when the body will be taken to the church for services. Fort Wayne Journal Gazette - December 28, 1964
