Tec 5 Burl Harris, his rank was equal to that of a sergeant, was a member of the 194th Tank Battalion. After arriving in the Philippine Islands, he was assigned to D Company, 192nd Tank Battalion, which had been attached to the 194th but never officially transferred to the battalion. He lived through the Japanese attack on Clark Airfield and became a Prisoner of War on April 9, 1942. He was held at Camp O'Donnell POW Camp after taking part in what has become known as "The Bataan Death March." He died at Camp O'Donnell.
