Richard Jerome Bauer, age 62, passed from this life into God's hands on Thursday, March 29, 2012.
Dick was born on Oct. 28, 1949, in Wausau, the son of Edwin J. and Josephine (Grendzinski) Bauer. He graduated from Newman Catholic High School in Wausau, received a degree in business from UW-Stout and proudly served in the Wisconsin National Guard for many years. He was the Associate Vice President of Technology Services and worked for more than thirty years at Ag Source Cooperative Services.
Dick is survived by his wife, one daughter, five grandchildren, his mother, a sister, Rita Bauer of Minnesota; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin J. Bauer; and infant brother, Ronald G. Bauer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Dennis Catholic Church 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, with Father Kent Schmitt presiding.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, April 2, 2012, and also at the church on Tuesday.
