Mrs. Nettie Elizabeth Bragg, 79, died Monday night at University hospital. Her home was at 940 East Bloomington street.
The former Nettie Blair, she was born in Morning Sun, December 1, 1879. She was reared there and married to William Joseph Bragg in 1898. The couple resided in Morning Sun until 1921 when they moved to Iowa City.
Mrs. Bragg was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Janice Ruple, of Washington, Iowa, Mrs. Leo T. Moore, of Iowa City, and Mrs. Harry L. Smith, of Kalamazoo, Mich., and two sons, William J., and Maurice C., both of Iowa City. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bragg, a carpenter, died in 1952. Three children who died in infancy also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Oathout funeral chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.
