Edna J. Moore was born February 26, 1905 northwest of Tulsa, Indian Territory, to Sam and Martha Lorene (Alley) Stamper.

She departed this life on June 12, 2004 at the age of 99 years 3 months and 17 days.

Edna had lived most of her adult life in Inola. She graduated from Skiatook High School. Edna was married to Warner Moore on August 12, 1925 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, he preceded her in death in 1947.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chouteau and was attending church at the First Methodist in Inola. Edna was also a member of the Mayes County Home Demonstration Club. Edna was a homemaker, and she had taught school, she was also a farmer which she was very proud of. She was avid gardener and raised chickens and sold eggs.

She is survived by 2 daughters-in-law Bernadine Moore of Inola and Jo Ann Moore Sala of Prague, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Martha Lorene (Alley) Stamper, 2 sons Robert Moore and George Moore, step-daughter Lucille Creel, 2 brothers, 2 sisters.
