Antonia "Toni" Timmerman Sumner, age 86, passed away peacefully August 26, 1995 in Salt Lake City.

Born March 4, 1909 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Henry Jacob and Cornelia (Nellie) Martin Timmerman. She married Jack Zimmerman on November 4, 1930, later divorced. She married Cecil Gee Sumner on December 3, 1980 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Charity, compassion and service were the central focus of Toni's life. She was always loving and serving and will be long remembered for her kindness, patience, and selfless concern for others. She has been a faithful member of the LDS Church throughout her life, and was always willing to share her gifts and talents with others. Toni was an artist and had a special love for flowers. Everything she created was a beautiful masterpiece.. Many treasure her gifts of love.

Survived by two sisters, Ruth T. Hunt, West Valley; and Edith T. Rumolo, Burlingame, Calif.; sister in law, Florence Timmerman, Salt Lake City, Utah; many nieces, nephews, step-children and other relatives also feel deeply the loss of our sweet Toni. Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Sumner, sister, Nellie T. Heaps, and brother, Henry Timmerman.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 29, 1995, 11 a.m. at the Stratford Ward, 2605 So. 1500 East. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Directors, Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
