Fern LaVora Kinsinger, 94, a resident of Napa, passed away March 17, 2002. She was born in Elk City, Okla. on Feb. 26, 1908.
During World War II Fern worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard, and following the war worked as an Accounts Payable supervisor at Basalt Rock Co. for 20 years before retiring.
She is survived by her son, Bill Jr., of Napa, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Kinsinger.
A memorial for Fern will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Richard Pierce Funeral Service, 1660 Silverado Trail, Napa, with the Rev. Mr. Erwin Bollinger, officiating. Private entombment will be at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa.
