Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Babbtown, for Mrs. Catherine Schulenberg, 85, of Meta, who died Friday.
Mrs. Schulenberg was born Aug. 18, 1874, in Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Groene. Her parents brought her to this country in 1880 when they settled in the Meta community. She was married to Dietrich Schulenberg in 1903. He died several years ago.
Survivors include: One daughter, Mrs. Walter Kolb, Meta; three sons, Arthur, Martin and Anton, all of Meta; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Officiating at the services will be the Rev. Arno Meyer.
