He was a son of the late James Ira Wright and the late Martha Kathleen Knight Wright.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Durham Wright; stepsons, Paul Wilson of Ohio and Fredrick Wilson of Lancaster; sisters, Geraline McCammon, Peggy W. McClain, Lucille Anderson and Annie Margaret Wright, all of Jefferson; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, in the chapel of Mahaffey Funeral Home & Cremation Center, conducted by the Revs. Tommy Moseley and George Bolton, with burial in Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Mahaffey Funeral Home & Cremation Center is in charge.
