George E. Barnhart, 56, of Colesburg IA, died Friday evening, May 13, 1994, in Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, Guttenberg, after a long illness. Memorial services: 5 p.m. today, Leonard-Vernon Funeral Home, Edgewood, where friends may call after 3 p.m. Burial of cremains: Brown Cemetery, near Colesburg, at a later date.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene; a son, Bret of Edgewood; four daughters, Georgia Kirby and Barb Hoffman, both of Colesburg, Cathy Petersen of Stanley and Christal Sullivan of Edgewood; his father, Charles of Colesburg; and a sister, Fay Sampson of Colesburg.
