Alvin Eugene Hansbrough, 67, of Newport News, formerly of Lexington, Virginia, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA.
He was born December 2, 1943 in Washington, DC, a son of Madeline June Barnes of Lexington and the late John Calvin Hansbrough.
In addition to his father, Mr. Hansbrough was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Jean Foltz.
Surviving in addition to his mother is one brother, Dennis Hansbrough. A graveside service will be conducted 11a.m. Friday, October 28, 2011 at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with the Pastor Hunter Phillips officiating.
