Agnes Eidelbes, 92, of Goodridge, MN died on Friday, March 16, 2012 at her daughter's home in Coon Rapids, MN surrounded by her loving family.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30AM on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Goodridge, MN with Father John Melkies and Father Rick Lambert co-celebrants. Burial followed at Czech National Cemetery, rural Goodridge, MN.

Agnes Marie Kliner was born on April 13, 1919 in Tabor, MN the second of eight children born to Henry and Albina (Holy) Kliner. She was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Faith in Tabor, MN. She attended school in Euclid, MN. Following school, Agnes went to work for the Ed Zach family on a farm near Tabor as a housekeeper.

While working at the Zach farm, Agnes net her future husband, John Eidelbes, Jr. The couple was married on November 22, 1938 in Tabor, MN and made their home on a farm in Star Township, Pennington County, MN, near Goodridge, MN. To this union four children were born, Lavern, Nadine, Darwin, and Cynthia.

They later purchased their own farm in Star Township, where they raised their family and ran their farming operation which consisted of sheep, chickens, pigs, beef cattle, dairy cattle, and small grains.

Agnes worked at Shetler's Hatchery, Land-O-Lakes Turkey Plant, Thief River Falls Sales Barn as a cook, and following the death of her husband, John in 1991, she went to work at the Goodridge School as a janitor. Agnes continued to live on the farm until March of 2011 when she went to live wtih her daughter, Cynthia in Coon Rapids, MN.

Agnes enjoyed sewing, gardening, search-a-word puzzles, camping, reading, listening to old time music, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Goodridge, MN where she was active in the Ladies Aide.

Survivors include three children; Nadine (Harold) DeBoer of McAllen, TX, Darwin (Carol) Eidelbes of Goodridge, MN and Cynthia (Henry) Kuzina of Coon Rapids, MN; 10 grandchildren, Brett (Kris) DeBoer, Heath DeBoer, Darin (Any) DeBoer, Tent (Lisa) DeBoer, Chad (Tamara) Kuznia, Ina (Marcus) Kuznia, Tavis (Jamie) Kuznia, Arlen (Tiffany)Eidelbes, Jared (Mya) Eidelbes, and Michelle Eidelbes; 20 great-grandchildren, Brittany DeBoer, Alexandra DeBoer, Addison DeBoer, Kaylee DeBoer, Blake DeBoer, Cassandra DeBoer, Miranda DeBoer, Skylar DeBoer, Falyn DeBoer, Taylor DeBoer, Blade DeBoer, Dylan Walker, Hailee Eidelbes, Ethan Eidelbes, Aiden Eidelbes, Javyn Eidelbes, Hudson Eidelbes,Isabelle Kuznia, Alexandrea Kuznia, and Klaire Kuznia; sisters, Gladys Stroot of Coon Rapids, MN, Eva (Al) Boman of Alvarado, MN, and Ethel (Ted) Safranski of Argyle, MN; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Kliner of Euclid, MN, and Edith Eidelbes of Tower, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John; infant son, Lavern; sisters, Henrietta Filipi, Adeline Filipi, and Charlotte Severson; and one brother, Harvey; brothers-in-law, Francis Stroot, Elmer Filipi, Howard Filipi and Bill Severson. Casket bearers were Agnes's Grandchildren, Honorary Casket Bearers were Agnes's great-grandchildren.
