Jessie C. Grider
LANCASTER Jessie C. Grider, 83, of Goshen Road in Stanford died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born Jan. 4, 1909, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Robert C. and Flore Ann Bell Grider. He was a retired farmer and employee of the Garrard County Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Walnut Hill Baptist Church in Casey County.
Survivors include his wife, Adeline Rogers Grider of Stanford; a son, Curtis Grider of Lancaster; a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Nola) Carmen of Lancaster; five granddaughters; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Ramsey Funeral Home, Lancaster, by the Revs. Bob Kiper and Paul Toliver.
Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
