Visitation will begin at noon Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The service will follow at 1, with Pastor Harley Faber officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mrs. Kirkland was born on Nov. 8, 1923 in Hugo, Okla., and was a daughter of Thomas J. Williams and Emma L. Torrance.
She was a dietetic technician at Hoemako Hospital and Casa Grande Regional Medical Center for 37 years.
She loved her family, was a doting grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother and a joy to people who knew her. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Gayle Richards, of Glendale; a son, Dean Kirkland, of Surprise; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur; five brothers; and three sisters.
