Dora Carmack was born in Paicines, CA. She was the half sister of George Washington Carmack, famed for the Klondike Gold discovery of 1897.
She married T.Julius Huttman in 1888 and they had 7 children together. Huttman died in 1907. Dora remarried Emeroy Derby and they had one daughter, Dorothy Derby.
Dora later married Asa "Ace" Fender. She lived in Colusa county most of her life.
