She was born May 14, 1934 in Durand, Michigan to the late DeLoss and Bessie (nee Deederly) Bates.
On June 27, 1959 in Durand, Michigan, she was united in marriage to William A. "Bill" Froberg. Together they celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary.
Mrs. Froberg earned her bachelor degree in education from Michigan Agricultural College now known as Michigan State University. She was a Mayflower Descendant and active with the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, Alexander Macomb Chapter, serving as past chapter regent in 1984-1986 and again in 1990-1992. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens, and affiliated with the Perpetual Adoration Society. Having fun with the Red Hats Society was another of her many interests. An avid reader, she also enjoyed shopping. She will be remembered as a true patriot and flying the American Flag at her home.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family, including husband Bill, children, Bill (Mary) Froberg of South Lyon, Lydia (fiancée Nick) Sabol of Mount Clemens, grandchildren John Adams, Adam Easterly and Erik Easterly. She is also survived by her brother Claire (Grace) Bates of Battle Creek, nieces, nephews and their Border Collie 'Martini' .
