Jonesville, La., Feb. 13. - Richard E. Yancey, member of one of the oldest and most highly respected families in this section and first settler of the village of Jonesville, then known as Troy Point, some thirty years ago, died at the family residence here at 7 o'clock last Friday morning. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church by Revs. Paul M. Brown and H. Wade Cudds. Mr. Yancey is survived by a wife, three sons, one daughter and two grandchildren.
