Louise was born May 26, 1932 in Leola, SD to Phillip and Helena (Brosz) Becker. At age six they moved to Bristol, SD where she attended school and graduated from Bristol High School in 1950.
She worked at Midwest Coast Trucking in Sioux Falls, SD. On October 20, 1956 she married Paul Logan at DeSmet, SD. In 1960 the couple made their home in Agar, SD where she worked as the bookkeeper at Peavey Grain and was a homemaker.
In 1984 they moved to Miller then to Highmore, then to Letcher in 1989. In 1995 they settled in Mitchell where she worked at the Comfort Inn as the night auditor for 15 years until retiring in 2006.
Louise loved playing bingo, enjoyed sporting activities and going out to eat. She loved attending her children and grandchildrens sporting activities, watching The Young and the Restless and playing bridge.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Agar American Legion Auxiliary.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Paul, her children; Kevin (Ellen) Logan of Gettysburg, SD, Bob (Wanda) Logan of Brandon, SD, Kaye (Scott) ONeal of Crofton, NE, Mark Logan of Mitchell, SD, Lesley (Hank) Bartscher of Mitchell, SD, and Gayle Amundson and fianc Scott Swanson of Watertown, SD; a brother Bob (Mary) Becker of Pekin, IL; three sisters Betty Jean (Ernie) Smith of Hot Springs Village, AR, Margaret (Gordon) Morez of Santa Barbara, CA, Phyllis Vaughan of Aberdeen, SD; and her 17 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Elmer Becker and two sisters Ruth Schwartz and Adeline Traphagen.
