BOWLES--Saturday afternoon, January 7, 1888, at residence of her son-in-law, W.W. James, No. 414 Adams street, in the sixty-fifth year of her age, Elvira W. Bowles, wife of the late Z.P.Bowles, and mother of Mrs. R.D. Rambaut and Mrs. W.W. James. Funeral will take place from Central Methodist church, this Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
